Went on 28 October's night for birthday celebration. So we request to sit at the first level for a bit privacy. We ordered LAMB CHOP, SPAGHETTI MASAK LEMAK CILI API TIGER PRAWN, CHEESY FRIES WITH BACON, STRAWBERRY BLISS TART and got to redeem cake (ALMOND TIRAMISU) as it's the actual birthday date. The food taste good and the dessert was not too sweet which is okay for us. The staff here was so great and friendly starting from we arrive until we finish eating especially our server ADILLAH that took care our order, send order, sing a birthday song with her partner and taking family photos for us. The atmosphere so privacy as we went on weekday (Monday). Surely will repeattttt!

Can see effort has been put into the food. Food is fresh and nice. Tried the pandan cake, it's soft texture, but the cream is on the sweet side. Caramel latte is good.Owner can consider no charge on plain water, as this shop food price is already on the high end, just for tea break with one plate main meal. And on top, there's a +10%+6%. I have been to many cafes, where water is free and free flow. My friend brought me here. This is a good place for small chats.

I liked the spaghetti and cake that I ordered, really good. The price is quite high but worth it. Friendly staff and fast service

I tried the Dreamy Oreo cheesecake, and it tastes good! The price per piece is RM18, but at that time, there was a 30% discount. Make sure to check the receipt when you pay to avoid any issues with staff refusing the discount.I also tried their Hainanese chicken chop, and it was delicious! The chicken is large, the steak-cut fries are plentiful, but the coleslaw is a bit limited. The Hainanese flavor is rich and contains lots of caramelized onions. The staff is attentive, providing a glass of water. I thought it is complimentary as they charge 10% to service charge. However, it turns out they charged 50 cents for the glass of water.Overall, I could say you may spend RM60 per person. You will be charged 10% for service charged + 6% tax service. Cannot eat everyday. Can eat once in a while.

The cafe location is easy to find. They always got customers in & out, I can say this cafe is well known by the people around here. The cafe ambiance is ok, but I quite dislike it, maybe because of dining tables arrangements & position. Maybe they could do something on interior design. The coffee was good but I was a bit disappointed with the spaghetti carbonara because I tasted the spaghetti was overcooked & squishy. The cake was great. Overall is ok but must improve.

Gula Cakery in Kota Kemuning is a delightful pastry shop offering a cozy, rustic atmosphere perfect for relaxing with friends or solo. Their pastries, especially the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake and fresh fruit tarts, are deliciously crafted. The coffee, particularly the Latte, pairs wonderfully with their sweet treats. The friendly and attentive staff enhance the experience, making it well worth the slightly higher prices. Overall, Gula Cakery is a must-visit for pastry enthusiasts.

We had a birthday dinner for my husband last evening. Adilah and Krishna were both very attentive to our orders and requests, and we had a wonderful time. The food was superb; I personally liked the chili butter cream with mussels the most. The grilled lamb was also excellent! I ordered lasagna, and I appreciated the generous portion size, in addition to the great taste. All in all, the food and service were amazing. Adilah and Krishna were very helpful, and thanks to their friendly and fantastic service, we had a lovely experience dining here.

The restaurant environment is clean and comfortable but could do with a little more soft materials to reduce ambient noise. Attentive and friendly service staff. The cakes are of quality…delicious. The western cuisine is very good. I haven’t tried the local dishes tho. Recommended!

Used to frequent the place. Only today, all are a bit disappointing. Staff used to be friendly but today looks a bit unfriendly. Maybe tired cuz of weekend. But food take very long but like the clam slightly less butter taste and too spicy this time around compared to last time. Waffle is a bit too gummy and not as crispy as last time around.May come back next time to see whether it is one off kind of disappointment.

One of the best cakes and desserts shops in Kota Kemuning Shah Alam, they have many types of cake and dessert, pastries, sliced cake, cake in a jar, breakfast menu, salad, pasta, burger, kids menu and many other drinks. The ground floor is the main dining area, and on the 1st floor they sell many ice cream with cones, you also can perform your prayers here as they provide small surau, overall the food quality is nice and tasty, many drinks have their own unique taste and a lot of customers enjoy the calm environment and ambience here. There is a lot of parking space outside the shop and it is disabled friendly too, The washroom is clean and very satisfied with their hygiene. It is highly recommended to come again with family and friends ☺️👍🏻

dine in for lunch, ordered grilled chicken chop and nasi daging dendeng. grilled chicken chop came out fast but we waited for almost 30 minutes for nasi daging dendeng. their pistachio cromboloni also taste sucks, the outer paste taste good but the inner one taste like “bubur kacang hijau” for real.

I came at night to this place to celebrate my 2nd daughter's birthday. Luckily, there's no other customer at upper level. So we took the opportunity to make it as a private small party. The best part is, there's ice cream booth next to the dinner table. To be honest, i loved the food. All of it were delicious. Their cakes were marvelous. The highlight of the night was we have been greatly served by the staff name ADILLAH. She has been so patient and wonderful to us. 10/10. Definitely will come again.

Overall, I gv average rating. From the ambience, service and foods. Not like other branches, Gula Cakery at Kota Kemuning the most 'sunk' one. Need to do new arrangements from the entrance, then also for the table setting (today, it's seems more like kedai makan tomyum/mamak for me). Don't hv any nice angle to take a photo. No decorations at all. Don't hv mood to eat. Thanks God, hv music heard around. Wall, green color? My personal opinion, it's not synchronize to their theme. For the food, we've tried spaghetti carbonara (the spaghetti maybe overcook) and aglio olio (too salty for me). No comment for the cake bcoz we already known that their cake is the main menu attraction for their customer. As I can see, this cafe hv their regular customer from nearby residents bcoz they don't hv much competitor around.

Basic pasta was good. Cake is always good but it’s not cheap. Ambiance is not so good. Too much clutter with the paper notice on the wall. And can somebody remove the used double sided tape on the glass door and wall.

That sunday,I and my family came to Gula cakery Kota kemuning. The services provided by OM Niza & Adilah is very satisfactory. In term of food and drinks, it's also very good, especially aglio olio, which is my kids favourite. Not forgetting the very delicious waffle ice cream. Portions are also a lot. So overall food, drinks, serve and place are very satisfying for our family. Tip top.

Just drop by to try some cakes, tasted the Raspberry Pistachio. Cake is very moist and acceptable sweetness. One slice is about RM20.

A cosy little restaurant that deserves all the stars given. I am truly amazed. Delicious smells as you enter. I first noticed the glass counter with the cakes and pastries. Then, as I went through the menu, the variety on offer almost overwhelmed me. My first meal here was Hainanese chicken chop. When it arrived, and I had a bite, it was really good. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sweet and sour gravy made it special. The coleslaw had a homemade quality to it. The fries that came together were crunchy. Maybe it is better than the one in Coliseum Cafe Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Anyway, I washed it down with a nostalgic root beer float. On my second visit, I ordered the big breakfast set. This came with toast, a choice of scrambled eggs or omelette, two sausages, beef bacon, grilled mushrooms and tomato, baked beans, hash brown and salad drizzled with vinaigrette. Delicious! A very full meal.

Gula Cakery impresses with its exceptional culinary offerings, where every dish is a delightful blend of flavors. While the prices lean towards the higher end, the quality and taste justify the cost. Definitely a must-visit for those who appreciate fine food. Keep up the fantastic work, Gula Cakery!
